Product description

Safely store and access long lengths of hardware and material, including timber, pipe, mouldings, and metal, with our Medium-Duty Single-Sided Cantilever Racking System. It’s the perfect storage solution for medium-industrial and commercial use, designed to store long or bulky materials of just about any length up to 1200kg UDL* per level. The starter system consists of two upright columns and eight arms. You can choose from various arm depths to suit your storage requirements, or opt for the 16 double-sided option. Our cantilever racking unit has no vertical obstructions, ideal for easier loading and unloading without front column obstructions.

Height-Adjustable Cantilever Racking System

  • Bolted steel frame with 8x single-sided arms, or 16x double-sided arms
  • Load capacity: 1925kg UDL* per column/3850kg UDL* per bay
  • Adjustable-height arms - adjust every 100mm
  • Steel end-stops available to prevent piping from rolling forward, and floor bolts available separately
  • Delivered flat-packed, for a simple self-assembly

  • Bracing: 1000w mm wide (centre to centre)
  • Total width = number of bracings x 1000mm + 246mm
  • Total depth = arm length + 200mm for single-sided and 2 x arm length + 200mm for double-sided units
  • Base dimensions: 200h mm and + 275mm arm length (single sided)

Load capacity per arm (UDL):

  • 500mm deep = 600kg
  • 600mm deep = 500kg
  • 700mm deep = 400kg
  • 800mm deep = 350kg
  • 1000mm deep = 275kg
  • 1200mm deep = 200kg

Is Single-Sided Cantilever Racking Safe For Busy Warehouses?

BiGDUG’s single-sided cantilever racking system is designed to be safe and efficient for use in busy warehouses. It can be installed flush against a wall to save valuable floor space and reduce obstruction in high-traffic areas. Floor fixing bolts (sold separately) are recommended to prevent tipping or movement due to collisions–make sure to install them on level concrete flooring. The open-fronted design allows easy and safe manual loading, reducing lifting strain and improving workflow.
