Silica gel is a drying agent that adsorbs and holds atmospheric moisture and water vapour and our silica packets do this in order to prevent product deterioration caused by condensation, corrosion, fungus, rusting etc.

Used extensively in healthcare, electronic, optical, pharmaceutical, engineering and military applications, silica packets remain dry and free flowing even when saturated. Four sizes in stock now for immediate dispatch. Silica, or silicon dioxide (SiO2), is the same material found in quartz and resembles coarse white sand. The standard version is known as non-indicating silica gel because it remains physically unchanged as it adsorbs moisture.
